Overview

First held as the Angioplasty Summit by Dr. Seung-Jung Park in 1995, TCTAP has been recognized as the best international academic conference in the field of interventional cardiovascular medicine in the Asia-Pacific region. TCTAP features in-depth programs through active academic exchanges and collaborations with the departments of cardiology, thoracic surgery, radiology, vascular surgery, pediatric cardiology, and cardiac rehabilitation, which have significantly contributed to the development of international cardiology therapies.

TCTAP embraces the latest knowledge from the East to the West, contributing to the improvement of treatments for patients around the world suffering from heart disease through academic program exchanges with global groups including CCT, CIAT, European Bifurcation Club, HKSTENT, ISIC, Tokyo Valves, Singapore LIVE, TCT, TCT India, TTT among others.

TCTAP, held annually at the end of April in Korea, provides attendees with the opportunity to review the latest basic and clinical investigations that offer guidance on optimally managing patients with coronary or structural heart disease. It also covers the newest interventional techniques and devices related to patient care, as well as comparing and contrasting different approaches to hot debates among masters of interventional cardiology. Additionally, the conference includes discussions on Integrating adjunctive pharmacologic management in treating patients with cardiovascular disease, among other topics.
